Demie Anderson (she/her) is a Chicago based performer with a passion for mental health education and awareness. She is a recent graduate from North Central College where she studied Musical Theatre, Acting, and Psychology. At the end of her senior year, she was awarded, The 2023 Outstanding Major in Musical Theatre.

Some of her production credits include Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Raue Center for the Arts), Les Miserables (The International Lyric Academy), and The SpongeBob Musical (Dominican University).

Most recently, she performed in The Beautiful City Project’s production of Camp Rock for a one night only performance at Loyola Academy.

This summer she traveled to Italy with the International Lyric Academy for their production of Into The Woods directed by David Fiorello. She played the role of Little Red Riding Hood.

She loves 70’s/80’s rock music and takes a lot of influence from these eras into her personal styles. She also enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her cat.

With any project she is involved in, she aspires to create environments that prioritizes the mental health and well-being of artists.
